Where this usually starts

You don't need a full engineering team. You need someone who can tell you what's worth building, then build it.

Most people who reach out are stuck in one of a few places. You've got an idea for a product or an automation that's been sitting in a doc for months, because building it properly means hiring engineers for something you're not even sure will work yet. Or your team is buried in manual work everyone agrees a machine should handle, but nobody has the time to design the fix. Or you've watched all the AI noise, run a couple of experiments, and come away unsure what's actually worth doing.

The cost of waiting isn't only the idea that stays in the doc. It's the months your team keeps doing by hand what could already be running on its own, while the question of whether the bigger bet even works goes unanswered. None of this needs a six-month agency retainer or a new headcount. It needs someone who has done product and ops for real, will tell you honestly what's worth building, and can build it with you in weeks.

I have 15+ years of senior product and operations leadership, most of it in the weeds, building systems, fixing processes, and shipping things. At Feedonomics I served as VP of Operations and then VP of Product, growing the company from its earliest days through acquisition. Adding Claude Code to that foundation has changed what I can deliver independently. I'm not here to oversell AI. I'm here to help you figure out what's worth doing and then do it.

I use Claude Code daily to build real things. Not to demo it at conferences, but to ship working software and automations for actual problems.

Jason Nichol

I've spent most of my career in product and operations roles, mainly in eCommerce and SaaS. My biggest run was as employee #1 at Feedonomics, where I was part of the team that built it from nothing through to acquisition.

I've been building seriously with Claude Code, using it to ship full-stack products and automated agents. It's changed what I can produce independently, and it's the core of what I offer through ClaudeSavvy.
